Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH - EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE DIVISION

The program provides emergency preparedness and response planning for any public health emergency, whether it be natural or man-made, in Los Angeles County. The program also actively recruits health professionals and health care workers to volunteer for disaster-related health care needs in the case of a county-wide, statewide or national public health emergency.

Health care volunteers may register online. This is the County health professional volunteer registry, and it is integrated automatically with the State Disaster Healthcare Volunteers of California database.
