Travel Immunizations

The ambulatory care center provides therapy and rehabilitation services. Services include cardiac rehabilitation, physical therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, radiology, outpatient health services, sick child care services, travel immunizations, and a transitional care unit for post-surgical rehabilitation. There are no geographic restrictions. Health services include in-home nursing through the Little Company of Mary Home Health site. The hospital in partnership with South Bay Family Healthcare Center, also provides a mobile health van for school children in the City of Hawthorne. The van's staff includes a pediatrician, nurse practitioner, medical assistant and support staff. The program is known as Healthy Kids Express. The mobile van serves all children from birth to 18, including undocumented families. Services include checkups, immunizations, health insurance application assistance, general medical care. Health insurance enrollment assistance is by appointment only at the Maxine Waters Health and Dignity Center inside York Elementary School. Enrollments for Healthy Families, Healthy Kids, Kaiser Child Health Plan, AIM, and Medi-Cal may be made.
