Trash/Garbage Pickup
Provider: CITY OF ARCADIA PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES DEPARTMENT
This is the government office for the city of Arcadia. Services include election information, city information lines, business licensing, building and occupancy inspections, illegal dumping reporting, permits, code services, planning and zoning, large item trash/garbage pickup and trash/garbage pickup. Geographic restrictions apply for some services; business-related services are provided only for businesses located in Arcadia.
The city provides building permits, electrical permits, mechanical permits and plumbing permits for any contracted work done within city limits.
The Public Works service department handles graffiti removal, street maintenance, street construction/repair, street lighting maintenance and street cleaning.
Waste Management provides residential trash and solid waste services. This includes residential curbside trash, recycling, yard waste collection and bulky item pickup. Waste Management, Valley Vista Services and Republic Services provide commercial trash services.
