Public Awareness/Education

The agency provides family life education for Santa Clarita Valley parents of children ages 2 through 12. Services include parenting skills development, public awareness/education and specialized information and referral for parents. Services are restricted to Santa Clarita Valley residents.
An annual parent educational seminar provides current information about local parenting programs and resources for additional family services throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.
Family Education classes are provided in conjunction with College of the Canyons; this is a court-approved program; staff provide progress reports to the court as needed.
A resource directory and referral service for the Santa Clarita Valley is also available.
