Emergency Room Care

The hospital is an acute care medical facility which provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency, rehabilitation, mental health, community education and senior and trauma services for people of all ages who are in Los Angeles County. Services include emergency room care, a surgery center, a physician referral service, an outpatient rehabilitation service center, and laboratory services. The facility is a designated Level II Trauma Center. There are no geographic restrictions.

The Behavioral Health Unit operates a 24-hour psychiatric crisis line that offers free mental health evaluations and referrals. Callers are evaluated for anxiety, depression, confusion and suicidal thoughts. Referrals are made to various mental health care facilities throughout Los Angeles County. The Partial Hospitalization Program provides outpatient psychiatric treatment for individuals with emotional or chemical dependency problems.

The Surgery Center perform general minor surgery in the areas of general medicine, gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology and ENT (ear, nose, throat). Surgery is performed on an inpatient or outpatient basis. The center also offers a pain management clinic and gastrointestinal testing.

Outpatient Rehabilitation Service Centers offer a variety of services including cardiac rehabilitation, audiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and a hand disorder program.
