Youth Centers

The department provides youth services for teens ages 12 to 18 in Los Angeles County. Services include youth centers at various county park locations. Age restrictions apply; there are no geographic restrictions.

Our SPOT is a free, after-school program that provides safe and supportive place where teens can check in and spend time. Programming includes recreational activities, visual arts sessions, social action activities, and educational field trips. Activities vary by location and may include homework help; dance and yoga workshops; self defense classes; music production and song writing workshops; poetry and creative writing workshops; and intramural sports leagues.
