Administrative Entities (Transportation Issues)

The agency provides transportation services for people in Claremont, La Verne, Pomona and San Dimas. Services include administrative entities and general paratransit/community ride programs. Services are restricted to Claremont, La Verne, Pomona, and San Dimas.
The Get About service provides door-to-door transportation for elderly and disabled in the cities of Claremont, La Verne, Pomona and San Dimas. To be eligible a person must be a senior citizen age 60 or older or a disabled individual of any age. Riders must be registered with Get About to receive services.
Pomona Group Service provides paratransit services originating in Pomona and terminating anywhere in Claremont, La Verne, Pomona or San Dimas. Groups must have a minimum of six people.
Claremont Dial-A-Ride services are available to seniors and persons with disabilities Monday through Sunday, 24 hours per day within the boundaries of Claremont. Dial-A-Ride services are available for the general public over the age of 16, Monday through Saturday, 6:00am to 10:00pm; Sunday, 6:00am to 6:00pm.
San Dimas Dial-A-Cab services are available Monday through Sunday 24 hours per day. Fares are $4.00 within the city and $6.00 to medical appointments outside the city for the general public. Fare for seniors and people with disabilities is $2.50 both within and beyond city limits.

Application Procedure
Call for service or information. Call a minimum of one week in advance for Pomona Group Service reservations. Children under the age of six and sixty pounds must provide a car seat.

Get About service is $1.00 each way, or a 12 ticket booklet for $10.00.
Pomona Group Service rides are $.50 one way or $.75 round trip.
Claremont Dial-A-Ride services are $1.50 for seniors and people with disabilities and $2.50 for the general public within the city of Claremont; outside the city of Claremont, services are $2.50 for seniors and $4.00 for the general public; after hours services are the same price as out of city services.
