Provider: WATTS LABOR COMMUNITY ACTION COMMITTEE - BRADLEY MULTIPURPOSE SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER

The center provides nutrition programs for adults 60 years and older who live in the South Central area of Los Angeles. Service includes congregate meals and home delivered meals. The service area includes the following zip codes: all of 90001, 90002, and 90003 and parts of 90044, 90047, 90059 and 90061. The boundaries for service are roughly north to Slauson Ave., east to Central Ave., south to 120th St. and west to Vermont Ave. Geographic restrictions apply for services.

The meals are provided five days per week. The congregate meal is a hot, nutritious lunch. The seniors may also participate in planned social and recreational events. Nutrition education is part of the program; a meals coordinator is available to provide counseling at the site for callers. Home delivered meals are provided to those who qualify for services, call for more information.
