Health/Disability Related Support Groups

The association provides health education services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include disease/disability information about respiratory diseases including asthma, emphysema and other forms of COPD; acting as an environmental improvement group pertaining to health care issues; health education, research on health issues through the Center for Healthy Lungs; specialized information and referral to health related support groups; and acting as a voluntary health organization. There are no geographic restrictions.

The association promotes prevention and early detection of asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, and other respiratory diseases through public and professional education and medical research. Information and referral for support groups relating to respiratory diseases may be given.
