Inpatient Medically Assisted Alcohol Detoxification

The hospital provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for substance use disorders for adults age 18 and older. Services include inpatient medically assisted alcohol detoxification and inpatient drug detoxification. There are no geographic restrictions.
The programs provide detoxification; individual and group counseling; education; Twelve-Step support groups including Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous and a formalized aftercare plan.
Each patient receives an initial diagnostic evaluation which consists of a medical history, physical examination, psychiatric consultation, family assessment, substance abuse history, nursing assessment and occupational and physical therapy.
