Alcohol Use Disorder Day Treatment

The hospital provides substance use disorder services for adults age 18 and older. Services include alcohol use disorder day treatment, alcohol related crisis intervention, drug use disorder day treatment, drug related crisis intervention, outpatient drug detoxification and outpatient medically assisted alcohol detoxification. There are no geographic restrictions.

The programs provide detoxification; individual and group counseling; education; psychodrama and movement theraphy; Twelve-Step support groups including Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous and a formalized aftercare plan.

Each patient receives an initial diagnostic evaluation which consists of a medical history, physical examination, psychiatric consultation, family assessment, substance abuse history, nursing assessment and recreational therapy. Services include telephone crisis intervention, assessment and referrals.
