Chambers of Commerce

The chamber is a membership organization for businesses that have operations in California. It serves as an advocate and general resource for California employees and provides helpline counseling regarding labor issues. There are no geographic restrictions.

The Helpline service is available for people who have questions regarding labor laws in California. It helps employers comply with labor laws and provides explanations and clarifications of laws confronting California employers in easy to understand language.

The chamber also provides posters about federal employment law, and pamphlets about workers compensation insurance, unemployment insurance, state disability, paid family leave and sexual harassment.

Harassment prevention training is also available for employers looking to become compliant, or maintain their compliance, with state and federal requirements.
