The agency provides adult education for individuals residing in the Los Angeles Unified School District region. Services include adult basic education, adult high school diploma programs, adult literacy programs, citizenship education, community adult schools, computer and related technology classes, English as a second language, High School Equivalency (HSE) instruction (commonly known as GED instruction), regional occupational programs, specialized information and referral, and vocational education. There are no geographic restrictions to participate in adult education programs offered by LAUSD.
