Child Care Centers

The agency provides center-based child care to families with children in Los Angeles County. Services include childcare centers, childcare providers, child and adult care food programs. There are no geographic restrictions.

Providers are located in zip codes 90003, 90008, 90016, 90018, 90034, 90037, 90043, 90047, 90062, 90066, 90230, 90232, 90250, 90260, 90301, 90304 and 90305.

The agency also offers special needs screenings and advocacy; parenting and child development classes; workforce development and financial literacy for parents; and access to the agency's full-time public health nurse.

The food program for family day care providers assists in providing meals and snacks for children. Technical assistance is available to potential providers who wish to become licensed.

In addition, the agency offers parenting classes, positive parenting coaching, parent volunteer opportunities, pediatric consultations, support groups, case management, and advocacy.
