Computer Literacy Training Programs

Provider: JEFFERSON COMMUNITY ADULT SCHOOL

The school provides adult education for people age 18 and older who live in the Central Los Angeles area. Students younger than age 18 may enroll with special permission. Services include adult basic education, Adult High School diploma programs, citizenship education, career and technical education, GED instruction, and English as as Second Language. There are no geographic restrictions.

The school provides a variety of adult basic education, academic, career technical education, and general life skills classes. Class offerings include adult basic education skills, computer literacy, typing, manicurist instruction, a gerontology program for creative living in later years and security guard.

Fees
Students may need to pay a $20 registration fee, a class fee, and, if applicable, a materials fee. High school students and seniors age 60 and older are exempt from the registration fee, as are people who enroll in ABE, ESL and citizenship classes, and classes for people who have disabilities.
