Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites
Provider: CITY OF PICO RIVERA PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT - PICO RIVERA SENIOR CENTER
The center provides services for adults age 50 and older who live in Pico Rivera and surrounding communities. Services include blood pressure screening, congregate meals/nutrition sites, diabetes screening, legal counseling, recreational activites/sports, senior centers, specialized information and referral, tax information and volunteer opportunities. Age restrictions apply; geographic restrictions apply for some services.
The center also houses a senior nutrition program, provided by Southeast Area Social Services Funding Authority (SASSFA). The nutrition program provides a congregate meal for adults age 60 and older. For more information on the home-delivered meals program, see the separate entry SASSFA.
