The agency provides public safety education for adults in Los Angeles County. Services include household safety programs and fire prevention information. There are no geographic restrictions.

L A Fire Code Section 57.113.09 requires hospital employees to take a six hour training course every four years. A blue hospital fire/life safety training is issued upon completion.

Employees of psychiatric hospitals and convalescent homes are required to take a three hour training course every two years. A pink institutional fire/life safety training card is issued.

Classes are $50 each. A $10 fee is applied for all reservations that are cancelled before the class date; a $20 fee is applied for all reservations that are cancelled after the class date. Individuals who miss their reserved class may attend another class for no additional fee.
