Parental Visitation Monitoring

The agency provides supervised visitation and monitoring for families with children age 18 and younger throughout Los Angeles County and surrounding counties. Services include parental visitation monitoring, training for prospective monitors and monitored child visitation exchanges. There are no geographic restrictions.

Parental visitation monitoring services include open visitations, which may take place anywhere allowed by the court. The monitor works to protect the rights of the child and ensure a safe, neutral environment for the parent-child interaction.

Professional Monitors are experienced in a variety of areas including law enforcement, domestic violence, social work, child development, and mental health.

All services are provided in compliance with the California Rules of Court, California Family Code and section 11165.15 of the California Penal Code. All monitors are pre-screened and trained by an in-house director who has received special training and/or education.

Monitors develop individual service plans according to each family and specific court order. Professional Independent Monitors are able to provide transportation for children to and from visitations. A declaration to the court is completed if necessary.

Specialized training is also available for individuals who wish to become private monitors. Classes are held based on need.
