Adult Psychiatric Hospitals

The agency provides inpatient mental health services for adults age 18 and older. Services include adult psychiatric hospitals and mental health evaluation targeted to older adults. There is no geographic restrictions.

The services include an adult psychiatric unit: a secured unit designed to provide intensive interventions for acutely ill patients, higher functioning patients, with mental health, eating, and substance abuse disorders.

The unit offer evaluations and acute care for patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders including: affective disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, schizophrenia, dual diagnosis and other serious psychiatric disorders.

A medical Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, which serves older adults, provides evaluation, diagnosis for mental, emotional and behavioral problems related to aging.
