Extended Child Care
Provider: YMCA OF METROPOLITAN LOS ANGELES - SAN PEDRO AND PENINSULA YMCA
The agency provides child care in a variety of programs from a child watch program for members using the facilities, to extended day care for the afterschool program for children from local schools. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to families who live in the San Pedro and Peninsula, Palos Verdes and Wilmington areas.
Daily childwatch from infant though toddler, ages 6 weeks to 5 years may be scheduled for a two-hour maximum while parents use the facility.
Afterschool programs include homework help and tutoring. and after-school classes are available for youth in kindergarten through grade five.
