Parent/Infant Swimming Instruction

The agency provides recreational programs to individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include aquarobics/aquatic exercise, parent/child activity groups, parent/infant swimming instruction, physical fitness, recreational activities/sports, recreational/leisure/arts instruction, residential camps, and Y Facilities. Services are targeted to residents of San Pedro, Palos Verdes, and Wilmington areas, however, there are no geographic restrictions.
The facility includes a health and fitness center; a gymnasium; free weights; steamroom and jacuzzi; racquetball courts; two indoor pools; weight machines and outdoor running tracks; and a 12 week personalized fitness center.
The activities include water aerobics, water exercises for people who have arthritis, aerobics, recreational swimming, swim lessons for ages 6 months through adults and lap swim for adults; basketball, racquetball, a kids gym for ages 3 to 9 and youth strength training for ages 10 through 15.
The agency also offers winter and summer camping for youth of all ages; a youth and government program for high school age youth; Adventure Guide programs for families which include youth in kindergarten through third grade. A week-long residential camp is available.
