Public health services include bedbug control, bee control, communicable disease control, environmental health services, hazardous spill investigation and clean-up, mosquito control, pest information, rat control, restaurant/food sanitation services, and vector control. Geographic, income or other restrictions apply for some services.
Environmental/public health services include vector control, the investigation and clean-up of hazardous waste spills and the inspection/citation of establishments within city limits such as restaurants, hospitals, hotels and apartment buildings. A mobile clinic provides treatment and control of sexually transmitted diseases.
