Writing Instruction

The agency provides a variety of recreational, family supportive, youth development, and personal growth opportunities for people of all ages who primarily live in La Habra Heights, La Mirada, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs and Whittier. Services include dance instruction, day camps, physical fitness, recreational activities/sports, recreational/leisure/arts instruction, writing instruction and Y facilities. There are no geographic restrictions.

In addition, the agency provides specialized service for people who have physical and/or developmental disabilities. Membership is required for participation in activities.

The agency provides physical fitness and sports facilities; recreational and personal enrichment classes; and youth services; and classes for adults and children who have physical and developmental disabilities. The agency's recreational activities and facilities include a heated indoor pool for year-round swimming, a sauna, and a weight room with nautilus equipment. Instruction is available in swimming, aerobics, Zumba, gymnastics, dance, yoga, and martial arts. The agency also has a travel club which offers a variety of community trips.

Summer camping opportunities include day, resident, travel, family and computer camp experiences.
