Water Reclamation

The department provides conservation services for people who live in the city of Los Angeles. Services include water reclamation.
The Residential Recycled Water Fill Station Program offers recycled water to all LADWP customers. Customers may fill up with recycled water for approved purposes, free of charge. Customers must register in advance and bring their own containers. Recycled water may be used only for landscaping purposes, such as maintaining trees, shrubs, gardens, and lawns, and to water edible fruits, vegetables, and herbs. All edible items must be washed with drinking water before consumption.
