The agency provides advocacy services to individuals living in Los Angeles County. Services include children rights groups for children with developmental disabilities. There are no geographic restrictions.
The agency disseminates information to families that have children with disabilities to help make sure these children get the services they need from the school district. The agency works with families to teach them and educate them on how the system works, and they make sure children are evaluated properly and thoroughly, and provides referrals to specialists and therapists that work with the agency. If legal advocacy is called for, the agency provides attorney referrals.

Call or apply for service online. An appointment is required.
Fees
There are no fees for an initial appointment. If an advocacy case is accepted a $1 donation is required; a sliding scale is applied for a legal retainer, if a family's income is over $50,000.
