The agency provides youth services for teens, ages 12 to 14, in the Asian/Pacific Islander community of Los Angeles. Services include AIDS/HIV prevention counseling; community clinics specifically for youth; dance instruction; recreation/leisure/arts instruction; and teen pregnancy prevention. APHCV also operates two school-based health clinics at John Marshall and Belmont High Schools. Services are currently available to students of these and surrounding schools. There are no geographic restrictions APHCV also offers mental health services, nutrition counseling services, peer leader opportunities, fitness activities, young men and women's support groups, volunteer opportunities, and field trips for youth. Programs are designed to raise teen awareness of a healthy life style and to promote leadership and personal growth. Dance instruction provides youth fitness through a hip hop dance program at the Los Feliz Health Center location.
