The program provides early childhood education to low-income pregnant women and families with children ages 0 to 3. Services include early head start. Services are restricted to families in zip codes 90004, 90006, 90007, 90011, 90013, 90014, 90015, 90017, 90020, 90021, 90026, 90037, 90057.
Services include a comprehensive, home-based program which provides weekly home visitations for parents/guardians and their children and bi-monthly socialization groups that facilitate early learning, social-emotional development and family bonding.
The program also provides identification of special needs children and support for them and their families; health screenings and referrals for children and pregnant mothers; coordination of services that address specific needs such as behavior and mental health.

Call or walk in to apply. Priority for enrollment is given to children with special needs; women with high-risk pregnancies; parents interested in ESL or high school diploma/GED studies; and teen parents.
Multiple agencies may provide Head Start or Early Head Start services within a given zip code. In such cases, the agencies will only serve a part of the zip code. Individuals must call all the agencies providing services within a zip code to determine which agency serves their exact address.
