The agency provides recreation programs to individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include golf courses, and youth golf. There are no geographic restrictions.
The Junior Golf program operates all of the County Golf Courses. The program provides free golf lessons to youth, ages 18 and under, and includes use of golf equipment. The program is conducted by professional golf instructors, and is intended to introduce youth to the game. The sessions take place after school and during the summer, and consist of 3 daily lessons per session. A schedule of all programs is available on the website.
