Women's Health Centers

Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES - SAN FERNANDO HEALTH CENTER

The center provides primary health services for people of all ages who live in the San Fernando Valley area. Services include Child Health and Disability Prevention program exams (CHDP); childhood immunizations; general medical care; prenatal care; pediatrics and public clinic. There are no geographic restrictions.

CHDP provides regular, preventive health assessments and developmental assessments for children from birth to age 21 who are Medi-Cal eligible and for children from birth through age 18 whose family income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level. The check-ups are offered at set intervals and may include the required Head Start or State Preschool and pre-first grade exams.

General medical care includes adult primary care, pediatric primary care and women's health care.
