Family Preservation Programs

The agency provides family preservation services for families in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. The program is part of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services Family Preservation Program. Services include case management and family preservation programs for participating families. Services are restricted to families living in SPA 8; the South Bay.
The family must have a case open with the state and referrals must come from the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Services are primarily in-home, and include counseling, demonstration of homemaking and parenting skills development, child care, mentoring, respite care and transportation. Some services are provided by referral to collaborating agencies.
