Sober Living Homes for People Recovering From an Alcohol Use Disorder
Provider: INLAND VALLEY DRUG AND ALCOHOL RECOVERY SERVICES - UPLAND RECOVERY CENTER
The agency provides residential treatment for substance use disorders for adults, age 18 and older, and men and women with children. Services include residential alcohol use disorder treatment facilities, residential drug use disorder treatment facilities, alcohol detoxification, drug detoxification and sober living homes. Applicants for the residential programs must have at least 24 hours of sobriety and be fully ambulatory. There are no geographic restrictions.
The residential recovery program is provided at separate sites for men and women. Services include a complete continuum of care from detoxification to transitional living. IVRS' facilities meet all standards set forth by the American with Disabilities Act of 1990. Services include individual and group counseling; individual treatment planning; crisis intervention; career development; parenting; anger management; multi-family groups; couples counseling; substance abuse education and recovery; introduction to the 12 step community-based programs; discharge planning; aftercare; and transitional living.
Sober living homes provide transitional living serves as a structured extension of the treatment environment to help clients transition back into the community. The sober living homes serve men, women, and adults with children. The homes provide an alcohol and drug-free environment and include mandatory twelve-step meeting attendance and aftercare services. Clients are required to attend 12-step meetings and weekly aftercare groups.
