Provider: T.H.E. (T0 HELP EVERYONE) HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER - LENNOX
This community clinic provides health services for people in the Los Angeles area. Services include breast examinations, blood pressure screening, childhood immunizations, contraception, diabetes screening and treatment, mobile health care, natural family planning, pap smears, pediatrics, pregnancy testing, premarital blood testing, pro-choice counseling, sexually transmitted disease treatment, teen family planning programs, and teen pregnancy prevention. There are no geographic restrictions.
Contract clinic services include outpatient health services for uninsured, low-income Los Angeles County residents of all ages, including General Relief recipients. It provides primary general medical care. Applicant's household income must be at or below 134% of federal poverty guidelines, or who are GR recipients.
Obstetrical services, prenatal exams and prenatal care are also offered, including counseling to deal with problem pregnancies, birth control, sexual relationships, and personal problems. Other services provided include STD screening and treatment, and TB testing and referral.
A pediatric clinic is available for sick and healthy children which provides physical exams and immunizations. The agency provides health education about breast self-exams, birth control rap groups, and teen groups. It sponsors a speakers bureau and school outreach programs and free Yoga classes for the public.
A mobile unit services Dorsey High on Monday, and Crenshaw High School on Friday.
