Clerical Volunteer Opportunities
The agency provides volunteer opportunities to individuals over the age of 18 who live in Los Angeles County. Services include clerical volunteer opportunities, coaching volunteer opportunities, gardening volunteer opportunities, nature trail volunteer opportunities and tour/exhibit guide volunteer opportunities. There are no geographic restrictions.
Clerical volunteers provide assistance answering telephones, filing, and with word processing and data entry at agency locations.
Coaching volunteers provide recreational and sports assistance in youth athletic leagues at the agency locations.
Gardening volunteers care for plants and trees at the agency locations.
Nature trail and tour/exhibit guide volunteers provide docent, nature hike, and plant identification services at agency locations.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age and older. Volunteers are not required to take or pass any test, however, the agency does complete background checks. The agency provides training as needed. Volunteers are not required to commit to a set length of service or number of hours per week. LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH Volunteers are not required to speak any language other than English; however, the agency seeks bilingual volunteers.
