The agency provides volunteer opportunities for people of all ages in the Downey area. Services include data entry/word processing volunteer opportunities, food collection volunteer opportunities and food donation programs. There are no geographic restrictions.
Volunteer activities may include data entry, food preparation, general cleanup, greeting guests, registration/check-in, setup of tables and chairs, and shopping assistance.
Needed donations include baby food and formula; beverages; sugar-free and allergy sensitive items; rice and pasta; cereals; sauces, dressings, condiments; proteins; canned fruits and vegetables; and monetary donations. APPLICATION PROCEDUR Call for information or to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
