Clerical Volunteer Opportunities

The agency provides volunteer opportunities to individuals living in Los Angeles County. Services include clerical volunteer opportunities and meal delivery volunteer opportunities. Volunteers may reside anywhere, however, services are restricted to individuals who live in zip codes 90272, 90291, 90292, 90401, 90402, 90403, 90404 and 90405.

  Clerical volunteers provide clerical, administrative and office support at the agency's Santa Monica location from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

  Meal delivery volunteers act as drivers or driver helpers. It is not necessary to own a vehicle or drive as a delivery team is comprised of a driver and navigator. Volunteers deliver a hot and cold meal between 10:45am and 2:00pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, to as many as sixteen people.

    The agency provides training to drivers and helpers. Training is provided both in person and via the agency website. Volunteers are needed to volunteer at least one day a week. Through Adopt-A-Route, groups such as corporations, church groups, or local clubs can choose one specific route. The group will then distribute delivery day responsibilities to its individual members on a regular basis. LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH Volunteers are not required to speak a language other than English, however, the agency provides services in English, Russian and Spanish.
