Health Care Referrals
Provider: NATIONAL ABORTION FEDERATION
The federation provides family planning services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County and throughout the United States. Services include abortion referrals, health care referrals, public awareness/education, and pro-choice counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.
This is a membership association of organizations and individuals whose primary purpose is to foster the provision of quality abortion services and to ensure that they are accessible to all women.
People may call the hotline for factual information about abortion, for guidelines to utilize to select a quality abortion facility, referrals to funding sources, assistance in understanding abortion restrictions, referrals to agencies nationally that provide abortion services and/or actively promote reproductive rights for women and the importance of maintaining abortion as a legal option and case management for women in difficult financial situations.
People may also request copies of educational literature which provide factual information about the medical, legal, and social issues involved in abortion.
