Swimming/Swimming Lessons

Provider: CITY OF MONTEREY PARK RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

The department provides a variety of recreation and leisure services for people of all ages in Monterey Park and surrounding communities. Services include arts and crafts instruction, child care providers, day camps, social clubs/event, swimming/swimming lessons and tiny tots. There are no geographic restrictions.

Services for youth include a Tiny Tots program which offers organized activities for toilet-trained children age three to six, arts and crafts, organized sports leagues, youth organized team sports, swimming lessons, summer lunch program, after school activities and day camps during the summer. A child care program for children age 6 to 14 who attend Monterey Park School is also available.

The department also offers programs and classes for adults and seniors, there are adult sports leagues and trips and tours for seniors and a senior center. Activities vary according to the season, the holiday and community needs and interests.
