Medical Schools

The University provides post-secondary education in medicine, nursing and health science. There are three schools; the College of Medicine, the College of Science and Health and the Mervyn M. Dymally School of Nursing. The College of Medicine grants the degree of M.D.; the College of Science and Health grants program certificates, Associate of Science, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Science degrees in fields such as Life Sciences (Pre-Med, Pre-Nursing, Pre-Pharm, Pre-Physician Assistant, etc.), Radiologic Technology, and Urban Public Health. The Mervyn M. Dymally School of Nursing grants Master of Science degrees in fields such as Entry Level and Family Nurse Practitioner as well as a Post-Masters Certificate in FNP and Advance Nurse Education. The university sponsors the Drew CARES program for AIDS education, intervention and treatment.
