Adult Basic Education

The Adult School provides adult education for people who live in the ABC Unified School District. Services include general adult education classes, Adult Basic Education, computer classes, community adult schools, ESL classes, GED instruction, vocational education. Recreation and Leisure instructions is provided in a wide variety of subjects. Special classes are conducted for older adults. There are geographic restrictions for some programs.

The vocational education provides classes in computer data entry, general office skills, medical office and receptionist skills. Participants are trained as Computerized Office Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Web Design, Computerized Graphics and Secretarial/Administrative Assistant. The length of the program is September through June. Support services include counseling and referrals.
