Veteran Employment Programs
Provider: CALIFORNIA STATE EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT - DOWNTOWN PICO UNION WORKSOURCE CENTER - PACE
The agency provides services for veterans who have service-connected disabilities, are recently separated from the military, campaign veterans and veterans who have been honorably discharged and their eligible spouses in Los Angeles County. Services include case/care management, job search/placement, job training formats, prejob guidance and specialized information and referral. There are no geographic restrictions.
The Veterans Employment Assistance Program (VEAP) provides services to assist veterans with finding and keeping employment.
Secondary services include referral to off-site services such as housing, medical care, counseling, substance abuse counseling and legal aid.
