The agency provides oversight of the Medicaid/Medi-Cal and Medicare programs for Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii and Nevada. The program is responsible for insuring that the states and territories within its jurisdiction are in full compliance with federal laws for providing access to these federal benefits. The office does not provide services to the general public; however, it will handle complaints or appeals that cannot be resolved at the county or state level.
