Neighborhood Improvement Groups

The agency is a grassroots, membership based organization that provides affordable housing, recreation and community opportunities to low income people in South Los Angeles. Services include community housing development, neighborhood improvement groups and transportation advocacy groups. Membership is restricted to people who live or work in South Los Angeles.
T.R.U.S.T. South LA purchases land in South Los Angeles, such as foreclosed homes and dilapidated apartment buildings, for the development of afforadable housing and other community-serving uses. It is membership based, and restricted to people who are low-income and who work or live in the community.
