Markets/Restaurants Accepting EBT Cards

The agricultural commissioner's office certifies farmers' markets located in Los Angeles County. Services include farmers markets and markets/restaurants accepting EBT cards. There are no geographic restrictions.

The term certified used with the phrase Certified Farmers' Markets means that produce is brought to the market straight from the farm. Only California grown produce may be certified.

The Los Angeles County agricultural inspectors visit and certify participating farms growing crops locally and inspect the markets and review each farmer's papers for accuracy, certifying that the farmers are only selling what they themselves have grown.

Every county has their own Agricultural Commissioner's office providing certification for farmers in their own counties.
