Travel Immunizations
The medical center is a teaching hospital designated as a level I trauma center that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient health care services for people of all ages. Services include emergency room care, general medical care, and travel vaccinations. The hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and a Pediatric Critical Care Center. There are no geographic restrictions.
General medical care includes surgical services; allergy testing; treatment for arthritis, asthma, blood disorders, diabetes, digestive diseases, and stomach disorders; urology services; cardiology; an audiology center; an orthopedic clinic; hypertension screening; a family health center; an ear, nose, and throat clinic; eye care; immunizations; gynecology and obstetrics; neonatal intensive care unit; geriatrics; a plastic surgery clinic; dermatology; speech pathology; occupational medicine; well-child care; women's health care; and laboratory services.
The hospital OB/Gyn clinic is also a certified provider of Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP), an elective Medi-Cal funded program which provides comprehensive pre-natal care including evaluation, direct medical services; nutrition and health education; psychological counseling and social services if needed.
Specialized clinics and programs include the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Jules Stein Eye Institute, the Children's Health Center, the Neuropsychiatric Institute (NPI), neurological services, Geriatric Ambulatory Assessment Clinic, and additional outpatient clinics.
