The agency provides immigration services to low-income residents of Los Angeles County.  

 The agency is able to assist people with naturalization; with the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA); with U-Visa Petitions for victims of certain crimes that have cooperated with law enforcement; and with T-Visa Petitions for survivors of Human Trafficking. Income restrictions apply.  

The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), is for victims of domestic violence, who are married to or recently divorced from U.S. citizens and legal residents and want to leave their abusive relationships and independently petition for their immigration status.

Application Procedure
Applicants can call the general hotline, submit an online application on the agency's website or visit an office location to be screened for services. An initial screening will be completed and a legal advocate will follow up with applicants that meet eligibility criteria. Referrals are provided for services the agency does not provide directly.
