Parenting Skills Classes

The agency provides victims of crime support for children age 3 to 18 and their families who live in Bellflower, Downey, East Los Angeles, El Monte, Hawaiian Gardens, Long Beach, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, San Pedro, South Gate, Whittier and Wilmington. Services include crime victim/witness counseling, domestic violence support groups, parenting skills classes and single fathers support groups. Geographic restrictions apply.

211 L A County refers only to this agency's court approved victims of crime counseling services and the Department of Children and Family Services program; it does not refer to individual/group practices for general mental health services.

Crime victim services can be provided in the home. The types of crime include, but are not limited to domestic violence, physical abuse, sexual abuse and survivors of murdered family members. Services are available for children, adolescents and adults.

The agency also provides domestic violence support groups and single fathers support groups and parenting classes. Child care for children age 3 and older is also provided.
