Home Delivered Meals
Provider: CITY OF EL SEGUNDO RECREATION AND PARKS DEPARTMENT - JOSLYN CENTER
The center provides a nutrition program for adults 62 years and older who live in El Segundo. Service includes home delivered meals for people who are unable to leave their homes or are unable to cook for themselves. Services are restricted to El Segundo residents.
The program delivers one hot meal daily Monday through Friday and a cold pack which includes at least a juice or milk. An application must be submitted and people must meet residence and income eligibility guidelines. Client visits are peformed by staff to finalize the application and see how the meals are working for each participant.
