In Person Crisis Intervention

The program provides on-site, evaluation, diagnosis, medication and crisis intervention services for adults and children who live in the South Bay area who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency. They can refer people who are seen for additional services and/or facilitate voluntary or involuntary psychiatric hospitalization if necessary. The psychiatric emergency room serves as the entry point for the agency's adult inpatient program. Services are designed to meet the needs of people who are experiencing a severe emergency.
