Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY PROBATION DEPARTMENT - ADULT FIELD SERVICES BUREAU
The program provides community relations activities and community affairs for the news media and visiting dignitaries. In addition, the office provides community resource information related to the department and the criminal justice field, public education materials, and a volunteer program. The office also manages community organization projects. There are no geographic restrictions.
The Probation Departments Volunteers In Service to Others (VISTO) Program assists and supports the regular Probation staff in various areas, which may include direct involvement with Juvenile and Adult probationers.
