The agency provides education services to low-income families in Santa Fe Springs. Services include public preschools and child care centers. Services are restricted to Santa Fe Springs residents.
The state preschool is operated out of the Gus Velasco Center year-round.
The licensed child care is also provided year round and is offered to toilet trained children ages 2 to 5. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack is provided; both full cost and subsidized slots are available.
